I may be biased, but…well, my dad is way cooler than your dad!
Since getting an e-bike this spring, Dad (Virgil Gaard, 83) has been chewing up the local trails near Madison, Wisconsin, routinely posting rides of 20, and even up to 30, miles. Our first ‘Dad & Son’ ride in decades, we logged a very pleasant 19 miles on parts of the Military Ridge and Badger State Trails. More miles to follow, including a planned three-generation ride to include my daughter, Abigail.
Dad is proving that you are never too old to ride “a few more miles”.
